Sometimes you arrive at the hostel for just one night. Then you settle in for a little longer than planned. A coffee in the shared kitchen. A conversation with someone returning from a hike. A tip for discovering another side of Rivière-du-Loup. Little by little, the hostel becomes more than just a place to sleep: a lively place where travellers cross paths and share part of their journey.
Staying at the hostel is also a way to connect with the region. Rivière-du-Loup looks out onto the St. Lawrence River, bringing nature, culture and local life together. With coastal trails, local flavours and performances in the city’s cultural venues, there’s always something to experience. Around it, the Bas-Saint-Laurent unfolds in seascapes, villages, islands and wide-open spaces. Every detour is a chance to meet someone or discover something: a local producer, an artisan, a festival, a market or a beautiful corner of nature. At Rivière-du-Loup International Hostel, discovering the region is part of your stay. Deeply rooted in our community, we love sharing the initiatives, places and people that bring it to life.
More than a place to stay, the hostel offers a complete travel experience. Authentic moments, local connections and a warm human touch make every stay unique.
